Porsche has launched the new Porsche Panamera GTS in India at a starting price of Rs 2.34 crore. This model stands out as the most powerful Panamera in the Indian market, given that the Turbo models, which are hybrids, won’t be available here. The Panamera GTS is set to become a benchmark in luxury sports cars with its impressive performance and opulent features.
Porsche Panamera GTS Powerful Performance
The Porsche Panamera GTS is equipped with a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers an astounding 500hp, a 20hp increase over the previous model. This power allows the car to accelerate from 0-100kph in just 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 302kph. The Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system has been fine-tuned for this model, lowering the car by 10mm compared to the standard Panamera. Reinforced anti-roll bars ensure greater body stability, supporting the car’s sporty intentions.
Exterior Enhancements
Styling changes make the Porsche Panamera GTS distinct from the standard Panamera. It features black GTS logos on the sides and rear, a unique front section and dark-tinted HD matrix LED headlamps and tail lamps. The red brake calipers and standard Sport package, which includes satin matte-black body trim elements, add to its aggressive look. The car rides on 21-inch Turbo S centre-lock wheels in Anthracite Grey, with the tailpipes finished in a contrasting Dark Bronze shade.
Luxurious Interiors
Inside, the Panamera GTS boasts Porsche’s Race-Tex suede-like material for the roof lining, armrests, door panels, and seat center panels. Two GTS-exclusive interior packages are available in Carmine Red or Slate Grey Neo, alongside a Carbon matt interior package, enhancing the luxury feel.
Delivery Timeline
Porsche has announced that deliveries for the Panamera GTS in its home country will begin in a few months. For India, deliveries are expected to start by the end of this year or possibly in 2025.
